The Group of Vincentian Studies of Central Europe (MEGVIS) met at the General House of the Sisters of Charity of Augsburg on April 3 and 4.MEGVIS

Eighty-seven people from different groups of the Vincentian Family took part in this meeting: Daughters of Charity, Federation of the Sisters of Charity of Austria and Germany, Congregation of Brothers of Tilburg, AIC, CM, JMV, and SSVP. Among others, the fol-lowing themes were treated: “Vincent de Paul and His Unlimited Confidence in Providence,” “Sr. Rosalie Rendu: A Fascinating Life,” “150 Years of the Vincentians in the Habsburg Empire” and “What Is Meant by Working in the Spirit of St. Vincent: Sharing Our Charism with the Laity.” They also discussed together various common experiences of the work of the Vincentian Family with the laity and with young people.
