SPRED is a network of groups set up to help people with learning disabilities to become integrated into their parish liturgy and community through catechesis and formation.
In 1998 Sr Kathleen Hogg DC established SPRED within the diocese of Galloway. This is the Scottish diocese which covers Ayrshire, Dumfries and Galloway in the west of Scotland.
