Living Charity – two-week volunteer service program

Living Charity is a two-week volunteer service program in Terence Bay, Nova Scotia. It provides an opportunity to participate in the mission of charity to those in need. Along with Sisters, you’ll have opportunities for hands-on experience of service, for reflection on justice and strategies for change, and for living and praying together.
Experiences include working with women and children, seniors and community centres.

Living Charity is offered by the Sisters of Charity – Halifax. Deadline to apply is December 30, 2012.

You will live at Seton Spirituality Centre in Terence Bay, NS and will volunteer with a local not-for-profit organization.

No experience needed – just a desire to help and a willingness to live simply.
