The international site of the Daughters of Charity focuses on human trafficking and what the Daughters of Charity in the U.S. have been been doing to confront and make a difference in combating the tragedy of human trafficking. Their efforts are a response to the human suffering they see around them and to the international Daughters of Charity 2009 resolve to “Commit themselves to discerning new ways to respond to the appeals that come from today’s realities of poor persons.” Human trafficking is listed as one of those “appeals”. (The site also features a link to a 2009 YouTube video that is very effective.)
