1660. In the letter to Fr. Gilliaume Desdames CM, superior in Warsaw, Poland, Vincent de Paul expresses his sorrow because of serious illness of Louise de Marillac and Fr. Antoine Portail who were given Sacrament of Sick in the same day.

1706. King Carlos III of Spain signs decree establishing the Congregation of the Mission in his kingdom. Already Vincent de Paul tried to sent priests on the other side of Pyrenees what he expressed in the letter of April 22, 1657 to Fr Edmund Jolly in Rome. Various reason did not allow to complete the attempts. During the journey to Rome, archdeacon of Barcelona, Francisco de San Justo stayed at Monto Citorio house and expressed his will to establish house of the Congregation in his city. using intervention of pope Clement XI three Vincentian priests: two Italians, Giovanni Domingo Orsese and Giovanni Baptista Balcone, and one Spaniard, Luis Narváez headed for Barcelona where the first community house was erected in 1704.

1717. XI General Assembly is opened in Paris. 34 delegate from provinces of France, Warsaw (Poland) and Rome take part. Representatives of from Naples (province of Lombardy) did not attend the Assembly because of trubles with a war between their country and Austria.

1744. Sister Julienne Jouvin, XII Superioress General of Daughters of Charity dies in the parish of Saint Louis in Versaille, France.

1848. Specially hired for missionary purposes "Stella Maris" ship heading to China with first twelve Daughters of Charity on board crossed the tropic of Capricorn after over three month long journey.
