The Beacons of Light 2010 television series celebrates the 350th Anniversary of the deaths of St. Vincent de Paul and his collaborator, St. Louise de Marillac, and the ground-breaking roles they played in 17th century France: organizing care for galley slaves, orphans, widows, the elderly, the poor and the needy, as well as utilizing women and laity more fully in the service of Charity.
