Fr  Biju Puthenpura VC,  a member of the Vincentian Congregation, a Clerical Society of  Pontifical Rite belonging to the Syro-Malabar  Catholic Church, visited the CM’s in Ashfield, Australia.

Fr. Varkey Kattarath founded this community in 1904 at Thottakom in the State of Kerala, India. The Congregation draws its spirit and distinctive character from the life and works and the Common Rules of St. Vincent de Paul who is chosen as its Father and Patron.

The Vincentian Congregation was started in 1904 at Thottakom, Vaikom, in the diocese of Ernakulam, Kerala, India.  There are currently three provinces.

Fr  Biju Puthenpura is currently assistant priest at Frenchs Forest Parish in Broken Bay Diocese (northern area of Sydney and Central Coast of NSW ).
