Trinity College in Toronto began a project this fall to introduce low-income adults to the humanities and to hone their skills in abstract thinking. In the words of one project participant, “I’ve been away from this kind of learning for a long time, and it is wonderful for your self-esteem to know you haven’t forgotten how to think deeply.” Read the story.
