The members of the new leadership team hail from Bombay, Louisville and Belize.The members of the General Assembly of the Sisters of Charity of Nazareth met at Nazareth, Kentucky June 1-14, 2003. During the first week an Assembly of Affairs was held and during the second week an Assembly of Election.
The results of the Election were as follows:
President–Shalini D’Souza, SCN, a native of Bombay (Mumbai), India
First Vice President–Julie Driscoll, SCN, a native of Louisville, Kentucky, USA
Second Vice President–Barbara Flores, SCN, a native of Dangriga, Belize, Central America
The new SCN Central Leadership Team will assume office on September 1, 2003 and will remain in office for five years.
