Vincentian Family Homeless Alliance

The story below is an example of how housing and support for livelihood can be life-changing for a woman and her children.

Each March 25, the Daughters of Charity renew their “yes” to serve people experiencing poverty. Through the 13 Houses Campaign with the FamVin Homeless Alliance, they provide housing, dignity, and hope worldwide—transforming lives across continents through concrete acts of Vincentian charity.

What began as a simple plan to help one family rebuild their home has grown into something much larger for the Society of St. Vincent de Paul (SSVP) in Tonga. Through the Famvin Homeless Alliance’s 13 Houses Jubilee Project, the team was able to extend support to four families

Saint Vincent de Paul Society Housing Australia has been a proud partner of the 13 Houses Campaign since its inception. As part of the Jubilee Project, the Society recently purchased a modern two-bedroom unit in Western Sydney, providing a safe, stable, and welcoming home for Nadia and her child.
