Vincentian Lay Missionaries

Twenty-five years ago, lay Vincentian missionaries from around the world gathered in Los Molinos, Spain, for MISEVI’s First General Assembly. The meeting gave shape to a shared identity, created an international leadership structure, and affirmed a missionary vocation that continues to send laypeople across borders in service of those most in need.

From July 5 to 7, representatives of the three zones of Vincentian Lay Missionaries in Venezuela gathered at the Residence of the Congregation of the Mission in the city of Barquisimeto.

Two secondary school teachers are currently volunteering with Vincentian Lay Missionaries (VLM) in Songea in the south of Tanzania.

Germán, Delmy and their two children are a family that has been carrying out their missionary project in Bolivia since 2003. This is their story of mission and help to those “who are left over.”
