For children growing up in poverty in Bangladesh, India, education can never be taken for granted. Financial insecurity, unstable employment, family tragedies, and recurring natural disasters often force parents to make painful decisions about their children’s future.

In Graz, Austria, the Vincentian spirit has taken a form that is both simple and radical: a village for men who had almost nowhere else to go.
