The Daughters of Charity have provided unwavering humanitarian support in Ukraine, offering essential aid such as food, clothing, medical care, and emotional assistance to refugees, vulnerable children, and displaced families. Beyond immediate relief, they foster long-term resilience through education, rehabilitation, and community-building, helping restore dignity and stability to those affected by the ongoing conflict.

In March 2025, Father Tomaž Mavrič visited Ukraine to support the Vincentian communities working amidst the ongoing war. His journey highlighted the resilience of the people, the dedication of the Vincentians, and the urgent need for global solidarity in the face of a continuing humanitarian crisis.

After losing her home in the Russian invasion of Ukraine, Anka Skoryk continued her work with Depaul Ukraine, providing shelter, food, and mental health support to those displaced by the war. As homelessness rises, she emphasizes the urgent need for long-term housing solutions, highlighting new initiatives like a women’s housing project in Odesa to help rebuild lives with dignity and stability.

As 2024 ends, Depaul Group reflects on its 35 years of impactful work addressing homelessness, highlighting global challenges such as 150 million people without homes and celebrating life-changing initiatives, including their Ukraine projects and innovative strategies for the future. With plans for 2025 focused on advocacy and groundbreaking interventions, the organization thanks supporters and emphasizes the power of collective action in creating lasting change.
