This month we reflect on the origins and growth of the Vincentian Family. Since 1995, when Fr. Maloney invited the four historical branches to meet annually, a new chapter began. Today, 180 branches serve in 167 countries, united by the charism of St. Vincent de Paul. We celebrate our achievements, collaboration, and ongoing formation, while renewing our call to serve with hope and commitment.

The Vincentian Family Office celebrates its 10th anniversary with the International Vincentian Youth Video Contest: “Saints Alive Today!”. Young Vincentians worldwide are invited to create 3–5 min videos showing how a Vincentian Saint or Blessed inspires today’s world. There will be prizes! The II International Convocation of the Vincentian Family took place in Rome from November 14 to 17, 2024, bringing together members from around the world to strengthen their mission of serving the poor. Inés Barés from Panama shared her testimony, highlighting the joy of reconnecting with fellow Vincentians, learning from diverse experiences, and reinforcing the bonds that keep the Vincentian fire alive.
