Effective communication is essential to strengthen relationships and collaboration within the Vincentian Family. Storytelling, especially when it comes from those experiencing poverty, gives voice, builds commitment, and makes the mission visible. Technology must be used ethically, fostering dialogue and solidarity, and promoting global networks that share experiences, defend human dignity, and multiply the impact of the Vincentian charism.

Meetings with the Consortium of Vincentian Educational Institutions and with the Vincentian Family of Puerto Rico

On January 29 and 30, 2026, meetings of the CIEV and the Vincentian Family were held in Puerto Rico, focused on Vincentian pedagogy, discernment, educational mission, and the renewal of the charism in response to today’s challenges, lived in a spirit of fraternity and hope.

This month we reflect on the origins and growth of the Vincentian Family. Since 1995, when Fr. Maloney invited the four historical branches to meet annually, a new chapter began. Today, 180 branches serve in 167 countries, united by the charism of St. Vincent de Paul. We celebrate our achievements, collaboration, and ongoing formation, while renewing our call to serve with hope and commitment.
