Today, September 4, 2026, we, the members of the Vincentian Family, pray for the protection of whistleblowers who expose injustice.

Speaking the truth can come at a high price. Those who reveal corruption, abuse, exploitation, or danger may face threats, unemployment, isolation, or retaliation. Yet their courage can protect countless lives and awaken society from indifference.

Saint Vincent was willing to speak before the powerful when the poor were suffering. He understood that charity is not silent in the face of injustice. It seeks the truth and acts with prudence, courage, and integrity.

We pray today for all who expose wrongdoing for the sake of the common good. May they receive legal protection, wise counsel, and the support of communities that refuse to abandon them. May their testimony lead to accountability, reform, and healing rather than revenge.

Prayer

God of truth, protect those who risk their security to reveal injustice. Give them courage without bitterness, prudence without fear, and companions who will stand beside them. May truth lead our institutions toward justice and renewal. Amen.
