Today, August 6, 2026, we, the members of the Vincentian Family, pray for those denied communion by rigid structures.
Throughout history, many people have felt excluded from communities, institutions, or processes that should have welcomed and accompanied them. Some experience barriers that leave them feeling invisible, judged, or disconnected.
Jesus consistently drew near to those on the margins. He saw persons before categories and relationships before regulations. Saint Vincent likewise sought practical ways to ensure that those most in need were not forgotten.
We pray today for all who feel excluded by rigid structures, whether social, religious, or institutional. May pathways of dialogue, understanding, and inclusion be opened, and may every person be treated with dignity and compassion.

Prayer
Lord Jesus, teach us to build communities that reflect Your mercy. Help us remove barriers that divide and create spaces where all people can encounter Your love. Amen.
