The International Miraculous Medal Association announces the launch of a new initiative, “Vincentian Reels,” aimed at promoting the Vincentian charism through engaging, short-form videos on social media. The initiative seeks to make AMM’s social media presence more dynamic by moving beyond traditional photo and video posts. The project will begin with a series of animated short videos featuring the lives of Vincentian saints, offering a creative way to evangelize and promote the Vincentian charism.

The first video features St. Louise de Marillac, “A woman of deep faith, humble service, and boundless charity.”

She was born rejected by society, yet became a saint who changed the world.

Born in Paris in 1591, Louise de Marillac never knew her mother. She grew up with pain, uncertainty, and longing, but turned her suffering into prayer and wisdom.

After marriage, more trials came as her husband became ill and Louise struggled deeply. But in prayer, God gave her a vision that she would serve the poor in community.

She later met Saint Vincent de Paul and together they transformed charity in France by:

• Visiting the sick
• Feeding the hungry
• Restoring dignity to the forgotten

In 1633, Saint Louise, together with St. Vincent de Paul founded the Daughters of Charity, women dedicated to serving Christ in the poor, whose mission continues worldwide today.
