Today, July 29, 2026, we, the members of the Vincentian Family, pray for healthy boundaries in ministry and service.
Those who dedicate themselves to serving others can sometimes become exhausted, overwhelmed, or unable to rest.
True charity does not demand self-destruction; it requires balance, prayer, and care for one’s own humanity.
Saint Vincent encouraged his followers to serve with wisdom, humility, and perseverance—not driven by pride or endless activity.
We pray today for all engaged in ministry and service. May they discover healthy rhythms of work, rest, prayer, and community.
Word of God
“Come away by yourselves to a quiet place and rest a while.”
(Mark 6:31)
Prayer
Loving God, teach us to serve without losing ourselves. Help all caregivers and ministers find strength, balance, and peace in You. Amen.
