Today, July 26, 2026, we, the members of the Vincentian Family, pray for grandparents and elderly persons who transmit faith to younger generations.

In many families and communities, grandparents quietly keep the flame of faith alive.
Through prayer, example, sacrifice, and wisdom, they pass on values that shape hearts and sustain hope.
Even when society overlooks them, their witness remains precious before God.
Saint Vincent recognized the dignity and spiritual richness of the elderly, especially the poor and forgotten.
We pray today for grandparents and older persons who nurture faith within their families and communities. May they feel valued, loved, and accompanied.

Prayer
God of generations, bless all elderly people who share faith and wisdom with the young. Strengthen them with peace, joy, and the certainty that their lives continue to bear fruit. Amen.
