Today, July 17, 2026, we, the members of the Vincentian Family, pray for healing among people estranged from the Church.
Many people carry painful experiences connected to the Church: judgment, exclusion, disappointment, or wounds that remain unresolved.
Some have walked away quietly, while others feel they were pushed out.
As Vincentians, we are called not to condemn, but to accompany with humility and compassion.
We pray today for all who feel distant from the Church. May they encounter communities capable of listening, healing, and welcoming without fear.
Word of God
“A bruised reed he will not break, and a smoldering wick he will not quench.”
(Matthew 12:20)
Prayer
Merciful God, heal those wounded in faith and restore trust where it has been broken. Make us instruments of welcome, reconciliation, and tenderness. Amen.
