Today, July 3, 2026, we, the members of the Vincentian Family, pray for inclusive language and practices in the Church.
The Gospel is meant for everyone. Yet words and attitudes can sometimes make people feel invisible, excluded, or unwelcome within the Church.
As followers of Christ, we are called to reflect God’s universal love through the way we speak, serve, and accompany others.
Saint Vincent welcomed the poor with tenderness and respect, recognizing the dignity of every person.
We pray today for Church communities that communicate with compassion, humility, and openness. May every person feel seen, valued, and embraced as a beloved child of God.
Word of God
“There is neither Jew nor Greek… for all of you are one in Christ Jesus.”
(Galatians 3:28)
Prayer
God of communion, teach us to speak with kindness and listen with humility. May our communities reflect Your inclusive love and become places of welcome for all. Amen.
