The Vincentian Family Daily Intention: June 14, 2026

Today, June 14, 2026, we, the members of the Vincentian Family, pray for those who cannot celebrate holidays due to hardship.

While many rejoice, others struggle with grief, poverty, hunger, or loneliness. Holidays can highlight the very absence of what we most long for.

Saint Vincent called us to bring consolation, not only food or goods. We are invited to be joy in someone’s sadness, and light in someone’s dark hour.

We pray today for all who suffer silently while the world celebrates. May they feel remembered, loved, and embraced by a family greater than their own.

Word of God
“Rejoice with those who rejoice; weep with those who weep.”
(Romans 12:15)

Prayer
God of tenderness, draw near to the forgotten. Use our hands and hearts to make every celebration more human, more inclusive, more just. Amen.
