The Vincentian Family Daily Intention: June 12, 2026

Today, June 12, 2026, we, the members of the Vincentian Family, pray for the pastoral care of the chronically ill.

Chronic illness often brings suffering that is invisible—pain that doesn’t go away, limitations that isolate, routines marked by fatigue and uncertainty.

In these quiet struggles, pastoral care becomes a vital presence: someone who listens, who reminds the sick that they are not alone, and who brings Christ’s tenderness into every weakness.

As Vincentians, we are called to be close to those who suffer over time, offering accompaniment, hope, and faithful love.

We pray for all who live with chronic illness and for those who walk with them—family members, chaplains, health workers, and spiritual companions.

    Word of God
“Bear one another’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ.”
    (Galatians 6:2)

    Prayer
God of consolation, be near to those who suffer daily. Give strength to their bodies, peace to their hearts, and grace to those who serve them with compassion. Amen.
