The Vincentian Family Daily Intention: June 10, 2026
Today, June 10, 2026, we, the members of the Vincentian Family, pray for a world that listens more than it shouts.
We live in a noisy age—of opinion, division, and constant reaction. But deep change begins with listening: to God, to the poor, to one another.
Saint Vincent listened attentively to the needs of the suffering. He taught that charity begins with presence.
We pray today for the grace to listen patiently and with love. May our words be born from silence and shaped by empathy.
Word of God
“Everyone should be quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to become angry.”
(James 1:19)
Prayer
God who speaks in silence, teach us to listen from the heart. Let our ears be open to pain, truth, and grace. Amen.
