The Vincentian Family Daily Intention: April 28, 2026

by .famvin | Apr 28, 2026 | The Vincentian Family Daily Intention

Today, April 28, 2026, we, the members of the Vincentian Family, pray for fair access to internet and technology in rural areas.

In today’s world, a lack of connection means exclusion—from education, jobs, even services.

Rural and poor communities are often left behind in the digital age.

We pray today for equal access to digital tools, especially in places often forgotten.

Word of God
“Make straight in the desert a highway for our God.”
(Isaiah 40:3)

Prayer
Lord of inclusion, open ways where there are none. May every community be connected, empowered, and heard. Amen.

On this same day, we also joyfully celebrate the feast of St. Gianna Beretta Molla, a modern saint who witnessed to the Gospel through her vocation as a physician, wife, mother, and woman of deep faith. Born in Italy in 1922, she dedicated her medical career to caring for mothers, children, and the elderly, always seeing Christ in her patients. Married in 1955, Gianna lived family life with joy and devotion. When faced with a life-threatening pregnancy in 1961, she heroically chose to preserve the life of her unborn child, despite the risk to her own. She died shortly after giving birth in 1962. Canonized in 2004, St. Gianna is a powerful witness to the sanctity of life, the beauty of self-giving love, and the holiness found in ordinary family life.
