Today, April 9, 2026, we, the members of the Vincentian Family, pray for those suffering in silence within their own homes.
Behind closed doors, many endure pain that no one sees—emotional neglect, domestic violence, spiritual loneliness. These hidden wounds often go unnoticed and untreated.
Saint Vincent urged us to reach out to those who are most invisible. As Vincentians, we must be voices of protection, presence, and healing.
We pray today for all who suffer in silence, especially women, children, and the elderly. May they be seen, heard, and safe.
Word of God
“The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.”
(Psalm 34:18)
Prayer
Lord of hidden sorrows, be near to those who cry in secret. Give them courage and support, and awaken our hearts to respond with compassion. Amen.
