Seeing Christ in the Face of the Poor

The Vincentian Family Daily Intention: April 5, 2026

Today, April 5, 2026, we, the members of the Vincentian Family, pray for families caring for members with disabilities.

Disability never diminishes dignity, but caregiving can be a path of both joy and exhaustion.

Many families give of themselves generously and silently, often without recognition or rest. In their daily fidelity, they become signs of Christ’s compassion. As Vincentians, we are called to support and accompany these families—not with pity, but with solidarity and respect.

We pray today that their burdens may be lightened, their sacrifices honored, and their love strengthened.

Word of God
“Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ.”
(Galatians 6:2)

Prayer
God of tenderness, support those who care for loved ones with disabilities. Renew their strength and surround them with a community that sees, values, and helps. Amen.
