On March 7, 2026, we, the members of the Vincentian Family, pray for the spiritual renewal of our Vincentian communities.

We serve best when we are rooted in prayer, nourished by Scripture, and open to the Spirit. Without God, our efforts lose depth and joy.

Saint Vincent insisted on daily prayer and reflection, forming hearts before hands.

We pray for a renewal of faith and zeal among all Vincentians. May our communities be schools of charity, contemplation, and Gospel action.

Word of God
“Remain in me, as I remain in you.”
(John 15:4)

Prayer
God of love, renew our Vincentian communities. Set our hearts on fire again, that we may serve with joy, humility, and faith. Amen.

On this same day, we also joyfully celebrate the foundation of the Sisters of St. Vincent de Paul of Kortemark, established in 1849 in Belgium by Reverend Peter Mulle, who began the community’s mission with a focus on the Christian education of youth and later expanded it to include the home care of the sick. As a diocesan institute rooted in the Vincentian tradition, the congregation grew stronger through its union with the Sisters of the Annunciation of Fumes in 1955 and the Sisters of St. Vincent de Paul of Kortrijk in 1956, continuing its legacy of humble and compassionate service.
