On February 26, 2026, we, the members of the Vincentian Family, pray for those experiencing housing insecurity.
A home is more than a roof—it is safety, dignity, and belonging. Yet many live in overcrowded shelters, precarious housing, or constant fear of eviction.
Saint Vincent responded to the homeless with practical solutions and loving attention. He invites us to see housing not as charity, but as justice.
We pray for all those without stable housing. May they find security, support, and a place to call home … and may we work for policies that guarantee housing for all.
Word of God
“My people will abide in a peaceful habitation, in secure dwellings, and in quiet resting places.” (Isaiah 32:18)
Prayer
God of shelter, look upon those who live without a secure home. Stir our hearts to defend their right to dwell in peace. May every person have a safe place to belong. Amen.
