On February 21, 2026, we, the members of the Vincentian Family, pray for sustainable development that respects both people and the planet.

Development without justice destroys. Progress without care for the environment and the poor is not true progress. The cry of the earth and the cry of the poor must be heard together.

Saint Vincent taught us that love is inventive to infinity—today, this means imagining models of development that are just, inclusive, and sustainable.

We pray for leaders, businesses, and communities to build a future that honors human dignity and protects creation. May we live simply so others may simply live.

Prayer
God of the future, inspire in us a love for justice, for people, and for the earth. May our choices today create a tomorrow where all life flourishes. Amen.
