On February 20, 2026, we, the members of the Vincentian Family, pray for a more inclusive Church that listens to the peripheries.
The Church is called to be a home for all—especially for those excluded or ignored. The peripheries, where suffering and silence meet, are often where Christ is most present.
Saint Vincent lived a Church that served from below, walking with the poor and listening to their cry. That is still our path today.
We pray for a Church that welcomes, listens, and transforms. May it be a field hospital and not a fortress. May we, as Vincentians, help make it so.
Word of God
“The stone the builders rejected has become the cornerstone.” (Psalm 118:22)
Prayer
Lord of the margins, make your Church a place of encounter and mercy. Teach us to listen to those on the edges, and to build a community where all are truly at home. Amen.
