On February 12, 2026, we, the members of the Vincentian Family, pray for the protection of creation and the poor most affected by environmental destruction.

The earth cries out from pollution, deforestation, and climate change … and it is the poor—those who least contribute to the crisis—who suffer its harshest consequences.

Saint Vincent responded concretely to the needs of those affected by natural disasters. Today, we are called to defend creation as part of our service to the poor.

We pray for environmental justice and conversion of hearts. May we learn to live simply, care for our common home, and stand with those who bear the cost of ecological degradation.

Prayer
Creator God, awaken our conscience. Teach us to care for the earth and for those who suffer most when it is destroyed. May our love for creation be a reflection of our love for You. Amen.
