A 5 Day Vincentian Retreat
The Vincentian Family Daily Intention: February 11, 2026
On February 11, 2026, we, the members of the Vincentian Family, pray for those who defend human rights, often at great personal risk.
Around the world, countless men and women raise their voices to defend the dignity of the oppressed. Many face threats, imprisonment, or death for taking a stand against injustice. Their courage is a prophetic witness.
Saint Vincent challenged the powerful and defended the rights of the poor. He calls us today to do the same, with boldness and love.
We pray for human rights defenders—known or unknown—who risk everything to protect the vulnerable. May their work bear fruit, and may we support them with prayer, solidarity, and action.
Word of God
“Speak out, judge righteously, defend the rights of the poor and needy.” (Proverbs 31:9)
Prayer
God of justice, protect those who risk their lives for others. Give them strength in adversity, courage in fear, and hope in the face of darkness. Make us their allies in the struggle for human dignity. Amen.
