On January 31, 2026, we, the members of the Vincentian Family, pray for a deeper Vincentian spirituality rooted in prayer and service.

The Vincentian charism is not only a call to action—it is a way of being, flowing from a heart rooted in God. Without prayer, our service becomes activism. Without service, our prayer becomes empty words.

Saint Vincent de Paul and Saint Louise de Marillac lived a spirituality that united contemplation and action. They taught that to serve well, we must first encounter Christ in silence, in Scripture, in the Eucharist—and then in the poor.

We pray today for a renewed interior life among all Vincentians. May our hearts be shaped by daily prayer, discernment, and openness to the Spirit. May our service to the poor never be separated from our deep love of God. In this union, the charism comes alive.

Prayer
God of mercy and mission, deepen our Vincentian spirituality. Draw us daily into Your presence, and from there, send us out to serve with joy and humility. Let our lives be a seamless garment of prayer and service—rooted in You, bearing fruit for the poor. Amen.
