On January 30, 2026, we, the members of the Vincentian Family, pray for greater commitment to systemic change and social justice.

Charity is essential, but it is not enough. We must also challenge the structures that create and sustain poverty. This is the path of systemic change.

Saint Vincent and Saint Louise organized services that went beyond relief—they created models of transformation. Their vision inspires us to combine love and justice.

We pray for wisdom and courage to tackle the root causes of poverty. May we move from handouts to empowerment, from silence to advocacy. May the Vincentian Family be bold in creating a world where justice and compassion walk hand in hand.

Prayer
God of justice, awaken in us a deep desire to change unjust systems. Give us vision, courage, and perseverance. May our love not only feed the hungry, but also transform the world that keeps them hungry. Amen.
