On January 15, 2026, we, the members of the Vincentian Family, pray for young people seeking meaning, direction, and hope.
Youth is a time of longing—for purpose, for belonging, for love. Yet many young people today feel lost in a world of contradictions, injustice, and despair. They seek guidance, not lectures, authenticity, not perfection.
Saint Vincent trusted the capacity of the young to transform society. He gave them roles of leadership, invited them to serve, and believed in their zeal.
We pray for the youth of our world—those searching for identity, mission, and truth. May the Church and the Vincentian Family walk beside them with respect, listening, and courage. May they discover that in loving the poor, they find their deepest purpose.
Word of God
“Let no one despise your youth, but set the believers an example… in faith, in love, in purity.”
(1 Timothy 4:12)
Prayer
God of all generations, accompany the young on their journey. Fill them with Your light and purpose. May we never silence their questions or stifle their dreams. Make us companions of their search, and witnesses of hope in a broken world. Amen.
