On the occasion of the canonization of Pier Giorgio Frassati, who will be declared a saint on Sunday, September 7, 2025, young volunteers from the Society of St. Vincent de Paul are inviting everyone to a special prayer vigil. The event will take place in Rome, at the Church of St. Louis of the French, on Saturday, September 6, from 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.

This gathering, open to all, will be a powerful moment of unity and reflection. Communal prayer, adoration, and hymns will help participants prepare spiritually for the celebration the next day. The organizers hope the evening will be an opportunity to entrust our lives and commitments to God, inspired by the shining example of Pier Giorgio Frassati, who lived charity through both prayer and action within the Society of St. Vincent de Paul.

“Frassati reminds us that holiness is not beyond reach: it is lived out in daily life, in encounters with the poor, and in the joy and faith that fill the heart,” the young volunteers emphasized.
