Spotlight On Vincentian Mission in Papua New Guinea

by | May 15, 2025 | Congregation of the Mission, News | 0 comments

From Papua New Guinea, Fr. Neil Lam, CM reminds us that while preaching the Gospel is his mission, it means little if he cannot also feed his people and quench their thirst. He puts it simply: “These people need more than prayer— they need water.” For his parishioners, this isn’t just about convenience or comfort— it’s about survival, dignity, and a chance to thrive. With the construction of one simple well, a chain reaction of life-giving transformation will begin: gardens will grow again, families will eat, children will stay healthy, and hope will return.
