Dear Vincentian Family Members and Friends,

The Church is full of celebration as we “open wide the doors” with the joy of the Jubilee Year. What may come of surprise to you is that The Vincentian Family is also celebrating the Ten-Year Anniversary of the creation of The Vincentian Family Office.

In 2015, with the leadership of Father Gregory Gay, C.M., the Office was established to promote structures of communion, to share our spirituality of love for the poor, and to have a more unified voice in the world and in the church.

In the last 10 years, we can see many global accomplishments of the Vincentian Family Office that have impacted our Vincentian response to poverty and injustice around the world:

• New collaborative initiatives have expanded the outreach of our common charism.
• Structures of support have been formed to foster leadership, organization, and resource sharing.
• The spirituality of communion among us has been deeply nurtured in celebrations and gatherings of the Family, instilling in us greater joy and hope.
• Opportunities for formation have become available through our global network of communication.
• Our solidarity with the poor, as we engage in grassroots projects or the promotion of systemic change, has continued to reveal God’s love for the world.

This glimpse of the last 10 years gives rise to our gratitude for the many dedicated Vincentian men and women who have offered the best of themselves to grow the Vincentian Family.  Of course, we thank Father Joe Agostino, C.M. for his untiring dedication and commitment.

Our appreciation might best be expressed in just one simple phrase that we know to be true, “The Impact is Forever!”  With this certitude, we invite each member of the Vincentian Family to consider making an anniversary gift to the Vincentian Family Office for its continued operation in more than 150 countries.  Your gift will provide the necessary resources for the Office’s international strategic efforts toward capacity building and toward implementing collaborative activities that ensure the vitality of the Vincentian Charism.
