Vincentian Gathering in Banneux: A Day of Reflection and Spirituality

by | Feb 17, 2025 | 400th anniversary Jubilee, News

As part of the Holy Year 2025 and in celebration of the 400th anniversary of the founding of the Congregation of the Mission by Saint Vincent de Paul, the Vincentian Family of Belgium invites all its members to a day of pilgrimage and reflection at the Marian sanctuary of Banneux. Under the theme “Monsieur Vincent, Pilgrim of Hope,” the event promises to be a day filled with spirituality, exchanges, and community connection.

The program includes a morning presentation by a priest of the Congregation of the Mission, group discussions, a guided visit, and moments of prayer at the sanctuary, culminating in a Eucharistic celebration. Participants are invited to bring their own lunch, while drinks will be provided by the organizers.

The invitation is open to all members of the Vincentian Family, including members of the Congregation of the Mission, Daughters of Charity, Support Teams, the Society of Saint Vincent de Paul, Brothers of Charity, and anyone who shares the Vincentian spirituality.

The gathering will take place at the Saint-Jean Congregation in Banneux-Notre-Dame. Participants are encouraged to register by March 29, 2025, and assistance is available for transportation issues.
