International Refugee Conference adjourned to June 2022

by | Dec 26, 2021 | News

Our second international conference “The journey of a refugee” will take place in Seville (Spain) from the 7th to the 9th of June 2022. COVID forced the Vincentian Family Homeless Alliance (FHA) Team to postpone this meeting once again due to the continued evolution of the pandemic, travel restrictions and limited in-person participation at this point.

The conference, which will focus on refugees, internally displaced people and survivors of human trafficking, is intended to offer members of the various Vincentian branches who are accompanying these groups an opportunity to connect, promote initiatives within and beyond the Family and improve Vincentian services worldwide. The final objective is to inspire a community of Vincentian practitioners who can locally and globally improve the situation of these vulnerable people through advocacy and concrete actions.

The main event, hosted by the Daughters of Charity, will take place face-to-face in Seville, and many sessions will be live-streamed to provide everyone with an opportunity to participate.
