“Vincentians without borders” – Meeting of the Confraternity of Translators

by | Jul 28, 2020 | News, Vincentian Family

Last July 9 at 3PM, Peru’s local time, the first meeting of the Confraternity of Translator’s was held. This gathering included the participation of men and women from every age group and from many different countries such as Lebanon, Poland, Peru, Brazil, Mexico, Nicaragua, Spain, United States, etc.

The meeting was developed in both English and Spanish. However, it is important to note that the participants were able to dominate the following languages: Arabic, French, Portuguese, Italian, Polish, Quechua, and others. That variety enriched the meeting and gave the participants a feeling of hope, since that would enable us to make translations of languages that we rarely, if ever, utilize.

It was agreed that the meetings of this Confraternity would take place every 2nd Thursday of the month, at the same time and utilizing the same platform (Go to Meeting).

Thank you
