Shape the Future of the United Nations!

In 2020, the United Nations turned 75. On January 2, 2020, Natalie Boon introduced you to the global survey/conversation that will take place for your participation. Here is a follow up to that article.

The survey is open now for your participation to make the UN fit for 21st century – to meet the challenges the world faces today and bring about a real transformation for everyone. The UN wants to LISTEN TO YOU. By bringing together people’s voices and views, the organization hopes to create an enhanced international cooperation structure – move away from the current trends of unilateralism and populist nationalism. How can we all work for the inclusive development of all people, especially those who are being left behind in a world where the rich are becoming richer and poor are becoming poorer?

This is what we declared 75 years ago: “We the Peoples of the United Nations determined to save succeeding generations from the scourge of war…to reaffirm faith in fundamental human rights, in the dignity and worth of the human person…to establish conditions under which justice and respect for the obligations arising from treaties and other sources of international law can be maintained…and to promote social progress and better standards of life in larger freedom…”

As we the peoples of the United Nations, let us take part in the survey to build the future we want. Here is the link for the Survey: https://un75.online/
