Ladies of Charity Caregiving Announces Grand Opening in Pittsburgh

Executive Director Sandra Jurani announces a Grand Opening scheduled for Thursday, October 10, 4-6 PM in their office at 7604 Charleston Ave., Room 20, Pittsburgh, PA 15218.

“Please come and let us introduce to you the pilot site of our national home care program, which is different than most home care agencies. We are non-profit, and once sustainable, any monies earned will go toward offering better wages and benefits to our employees and more care to those we serve, including those who cannot afford it. We do accept Medicaid.

The vital support of the 1,500 members of the Ladies of Charity of the Diocese of Pittsburgh who are integrally involved with insuring the success of this program is quite significant and welcomed. Ladies of Charity was founded 400 years ago by St. Vincent de Paul with a mission to provide holistic care, treating mind, body and spirit. Recognition of the person, relationships and interdependence, the equality of all individuals, and trustworthiness are paramount to the care we offer.”

Ladies of Charity Caregiving is accepting applications for home care workers and those in need of care. We will offer holistic high-quality home care while providing quality training and quality jobs to those who would like to work as direct care workers.
