“The Pope Video” (3): For children and families in difficulty

by | Mar 12, 2016 | Church, News, Pope

The third video of “The Pope Video” series, an initiative promoted by the Vatican, was released Thursday, March 10. In it, the Holy Father explains his intentions for universal prayer and evangelization. Every month we will see a new two-minute video from Pope Francis with his intentions and a motivating message. The video is in Spanish, with English subtitles.

The project is an initiative of Pope’s Worldwide Prayer Network (Apostleship of Prayer), that aims to spread the Pope’s monthly intentions on the challenges facing Humanity.

The Pope tells us in this video:

The family is one of the most precious assets of humanity. But, is it not perhaps the most vulnerable?

When a family is exposed to economic, health, or other difficulties, the children grow up in an environment of sadness.

I want to share with you and with Jesus my prayer intention for the month: That families in need may receive the necessary support and that children may grow up in healthy and peaceful environments.
