Lenten Letter to the Family: Resources

by | Feb 6, 2016 | Formation, Reflections, Spirituality and Spiritual Practice, Vincentian Family

We are happy to present the Lenten Letter to the Vincentian Family in Slideshare (presentation) format. We hope you will enjoy using it for reflection throughout the Lenten Season.

In some ways it will allow you almost literally to walk alongside him and the thoughts of his reflection.

The 2016 Letter downloadable in various languagues.

Since this is his last Lenten Letter as Superior General we thought it apt to provide this retrospective of Fr. Gregory’s Lenten Letters back through 2005

PS. A little background about Notre Dame de Prime Combe…   It is said that in the shadow of the oaks by the first rolling hills of the Cevennes, near the Vidourle, lies the ancient chapel of Our Lady of Prime Combe, a renowned pilgrimage site since the Middle Ages. It is said that a shepherd of Fontanès, seeking his lost ox, discovered a small statue of the Madonna. The church is found today in the same place on the hill. Upon arriving there, what strikes you the most is the silence. The village is nestled around the Romanesque-Gothic-style church, whose bell tower is topped with a slate arrow.
