Boldness croppedFrom their DC website –  Closing of the General Assembly of the Daughters of Charity

At the end of our Assembly, we gave thanks to God and embraced the message from Sister Kathleen Appler, Superioress General, sending us forth and calling us to become in our Provinces “living documents” of “the boldness of Charity for a new missionary momentum” through the intercession of the Blessed Virgin and modeled on the example of our Holy Founders, Saint Vincent and Saint Louise. All of the members signed the Assembly memory book, which has existed since the beginning of the Company (see photos).

The evening of June 12, we spent a time of fellowship together under the sign of the rainbow.  In a spirit of joy, hope and sisterly charity, we shared in a musical dessert (see photo).

Thanks to excellent and thoughtful planning and the discreet assistance of our interpreters and translators, this was a time of grace and joy (photo).

Thank you to all our visitors, friends and those who showed an interest for having come along with us!

Be sure to visit their website  for a small photo album.
