SVDP Ebola doctor

From the Frederic’s eGazette…  On Sunday 30th November 2014, members of St. Martin SVdP Conference in Sierra Leone joined the family in a memorial mass for the late Dr. Martin Salia, the seventh Doctor who died of Ebola.

Dr. Martin joined the Society in 1998 while attending the College of Medicine and Allied Health Science. He was a very active Vincentian. After graduation he was assigned to one of the most deprived Districts in Bonthe. He worked selflessly, full of zeal and had compassion for his work. He was a Doctor that sometimes performs surgery without looking for money, he always says “life comes first.” Regardless of his tight work schedule until his death he never left the Catholic Church.

We will continue to pray for his soul to rest in peace. Thank you very much for your support.
