In a powerful 1 minute video John Klink, president of the International Catholic Migration Commission, talks to Catholic News Service about Pope Francis’ special awareness of migrants’ problems.
Francis himself said “I have come from the ends of the earth.” Klink continues “He himself is a migrant. His parents were migrants… Italian parents leaving Italy to go to Argentina … He has therefore a special understanding much like Christ who in his early days as youth was a refugee”and their son returning to Italy as Pope”
