The sisters of Charity New York are offering another summer outreach/service experience June 1-9, 2013.

The goal of Charity in the City 2013 is to assist families in the mid-island section of Staten Island who are recovering from Superstorm Sandy and help with beach clean-up. Participants will stay at a parish house in Tottenville with a Sister of Charity of New York. Evenings will include time together for reflection on the day’s work, some prayer, and fun together. There is no cost for the week. Meals are included. Some help with travel expenses is available. Participants are asked to bring thier energy and an open heart.
